DRINKDAY

Privacy Policy

The short version

Who we are

DrinkDay is developed and published by Tigerfish Productions LLC, doing business as PiousLogic ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy applies to the DrinkDay app on iOS and Android.

Information we do not collect

DrinkDay does not collect or transmit your personal information to us. We do not ask you to register, track your location, access your contacts, or send your hydration records to a server we operate. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising or profiling.

Information stored on your device

To provide its features, DrinkDay saves information locally, including:

DrinkDay uses this information on your device to show your progress and history, calculate insights, personalize the app, and schedule reminders. We do not receive these records or counters.

Your operating system may include app data in device backups or transfers, depending on your settings. Those services are managed by Apple, Google, or your device provider under their own policies; we do not have access to those backups.

Reminders and permissions

If you enable reminders, DrinkDay uses your device's notification and scheduling features to remind you to drink water. You can change your reminder preferences in the app and manage notification permissions in your device settings.

DrinkDay Plus purchases

DrinkDay Plus is an optional one-time purchase processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. The app uses the platform's purchase services to check, unlock, and restore Plus access. We do not use RevenueCat or another third-party purchase-management service.

Apple or Google processes payment and transaction information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The app checks purchase status to provide the features you bought. Store transaction and sales records are separate from optional usage analytics and are governed by the store's policies.

Optional platform analytics and diagnostics

We do not add analytics or crash-reporting services to DrinkDay. We use only the basic usage, crash, and performance information that Apple and Google make available through their built-in opt-in sharing features, subject to your platform settings and their policies. We use this information to understand app performance and improve reliability.

Apple describes developer analytics as aggregated or in a form that does not personally identify you. Google may share aggregated usage and diagnostic information with partners such as Android developers. DrinkDay does not send us your hydration history as analytics.

You can manage optional sharing in your device settings. See Apple's analytics and diagnostics settings, Apple's App Analytics & Privacy notice, and Google's usage and diagnostics settings. These settings govern optional diagnostics, not the information the stores need to process purchases.

If you contact us

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use that correspondence to respond to your request and provide support. Please avoid sending hydration records or other personal information unless it is necessary for your question.

Retention and your choices

Your locally stored app data remains on your device until it is removed. Deleting the app and its data removes the local copy; copies in device backups may remain until you remove them through your backup provider. Offloading or archiving an app may preserve its data.

We do not hold a copy of your hydration records, so we cannot access, recover, or delete them for you. You can manage reminders in the app, permissions and optional diagnostic sharing in your device settings, and purchases through your Apple or Google account.

Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any related obligations. Platform purchase records, backups, and diagnostics are subject to the respective provider's retention policies. Contact us with any privacy request about information you have sent directly to us.

Children's privacy

DrinkDay does not collect personal information through its hydration-tracking features, including from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through a support request, please contact us so we can address it.

Apple and Google services

Apple and Google operate their own stores, payment systems, backup services, and optional diagnostic-sharing features. Their handling of information is described in the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

If DrinkDay's data practices change, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be reflected here before the new behavior takes effect.
